A cenote (sinkhole) called Samula in the town of Dzitnup, Mexico. For the ancient Mayan people this natural features were considered sacred places and the entrances to the underworld. In these days, because of its potential for tourism, the Mayan descendants are making efforts to preserve and protect this places.
